Service

Are you new in Pingstkyrkan?

We know it can feel strange visiting a church for the first time, so we’ll try to explain some of what you can expect when you visit a service in Pingstkyrkan.

When you enter someone will greet you. If you feel comfortable with it, tell them that you haven’t visited us before, then you’ll get the help you want and need. Don’t hesitate to ask someone for help if you’re wondering anything.

There are coat-hangers downstairs if you want to take of your outerwear. You can also find restrooms and changing rooms there.

Half an hour before service there is free mingle-fika in the foyer, an opportunity to get acquainted with some of the others attending the service.

Most services last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Don’t worry if you need to leave before the service ends, you come and go as you want!

There are no reserved seats in Pingstkyrkan, you can sit wherever you want!

If you bring infants and need to leave for a while to breastfeed or care for your child, there are rooms downstairs. Ask someone for audio transfer, so you can follow along with the service.

A typical service consists of singing and music, bible reading, prayer and preaching.
All lyrics for the songs are projected on a screen, so it’s easy to sing along if you want to.

In most services there is an opportunity to give money, to our church or sometimes our missionary projects. This offering is completely voluntary and don’t feel uncomfortable if you don’t give anything. Just let the collection box pass by, many of our churches members give their offering in other ways, so you won’t be the only one letting it pass by.

After the service we serve coffee and fika downstairs. It’s 20 kr, or 50 kr for a family. You can pay with cash, card or Swish.

Welcome!
